Monster Chetwynd (born Alalia Chetwynd in 1973) is a British artist known for their experimental and performative works that combine theatre, sculpture, installation, and interactive elements.
Chetwynd has previously worked under the names Spartacus Chetwynd and Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, and their practice challenges identity, authority, and the boundaries between artist, artwork, and audience.
Chetwynd was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2012 and has exhibited internationally at institutions such as Belvedere 21 in Vienna, Kunsthaus Zürich, Tate Modern, and many more.
Chetwynd's works often feature humor, grotesque beauty, collage-like materials, and performance, engaging both professional participants and the audience.

Monster Chetwynd is currently exhibiting at Copenhagen Contemporary in Copenhagen with the exhibition CC Create x Monster Chetwynd: A Feather in Your Hat! and with the exhibition The Trompe l’oeil Cleavage at Kunsthaus Zürich.
